Class 3 are looking at the Victorians this term, and have been enjoying developing their art and D&T skills as they are working.We are looking at: the royal familychildrenschools (Pentre School)houses and homesfamous peopleinventionsOur English work is mostly based around our topic of the Victorians; we have looked at diary and log book writing - it was particularly interesting to look at the Pentre School log book, kept by headteachers past and present! We are also writing instructions, newspaper reposrts and descriptions.Our art and technology work has included designing and making a 2D Victorian house, a 3D image of a working child, a pressed flower book mark and a Victorian fan. Click here to look at examples of our work.In our RE work we are looking at sacred books, and, where possible, we have linked this to our Victorian topic - especially looking at the importance of the Bible in Welsh churches and in people's lives over the past centuries.
